CENTRAL MONITORING SUMMARY: MONITORING EQUIPMENT
The central monitoring equipment shall be UL (Underwriters Laboratory) listed and include a commercial fire digital communicator complete with the following features:
· Meet NFPA 72 requirements for Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT).
· Capable of seizing the telephone line at the protected premises, disconnecting an outgoing or incoming call, and preventing its use until signal transmission has been completed.
· Contain a minimum of 3 channels.
· Connected to two (2) separate loop start telephone lines at protected premises. · Programmed to call a second number should the signal transmission be unsuccessful.
CENTRAL MONITORING SUMMARY: MONITORING AGENCY
The Central Monitoring Agency shall:
· Be a UL (Underwriters Laboratory) listed Central Station.
· Must be equipped to be capable of responding to all service requests within two (2) hours of notification.
· Provide upon request monthly activity reports on all locations.
· Utilize NICET certification for technical staff and/or technicians.
· Provide service twenty-four (24) hours, seven (7) days a week in the event of an emergency.
· No charge for any excessive signals
· The monitoring agency shall automatically initiate and complete a test signal transmission sequence between the transmitter and receiver at least once every 24 hours.
